Can employers use my application details for unrelated advertising?

Employers and other recipients must handle candidate information under the privacy and recruitment laws that apply to them. A job application does not automatically give permission for unrelated marketing, resale or public disclosure of your CV. If an employer collected information directly through its website, contact that employer about its independent handling practices and your available privacy rights.
