What is a work-rights check?

A work-rights check considers whether a person is legally permitted to perform the proposed work in the relevant country. In Australia, authorised employers may use VEVO or other permitted evidence where applicable; other countries use different procedures. Nationality, residence, visa type and restrictions can affect eligibility. A profile's selected country alone does not prove a legal right to work.
